After each of my fellow IWSG Anthology authors were In the Spotlight over the last few months, our spokesperson Louise Barbour has initiated a new series of weekly posts.
First up, today’s post on the IWSG Anthology blog carries Louise’s wise words during the Covid-19 crisis, and her thoughts on her love of reading. Plus, some of the favourite Middle Grade reads of us Anthology authors.

You are so kind, Roland! Thank you!

You are the inspiring one, Louise. I’m going crazy as the distancing is flouted all around me. So, I need to grasp at the good things left,

My unread towers keep growing (pile doesn’t cover the size). I will never read them all but expect/hope to die trying.
As I said on your earlier post, I am endlessly grateful to writers. They are my heroes and if only I could sing they would not be unsung ones.

Without readers like you, EC, us writers would scribble with less motivation. Although, some days I just need to write irrespective of whether it gets read.

That need to write regardless defines you as a writer I believe.
Stay well, stay safe – and keep writing.

Yes, The Wolf Wilder was a powerful book. I got it for reviewing when it came out. It really sent images into my mind, very visual.
